Home

Our goal is to involve all types of individuals – knitters, crocheters, cancer patients, family members of cancer patients or anyone looking for a way to help – and provide them with a tangible and practical way to show our love and hope through handmade items.  This includes chemo caps, prayer shawls, lap throws, scarves, etc.   These items will be donated to the local cancer centers, the Beacon of Hope Cancer Ministry or to anyone in need of hope and comfort while fighting cancer.  We have also been able to start sending some of our hats and scarves on mission trips—both local and foreign!

If you are a knitter or crocheter, we’d love to have you join our group and share your passion.  We meet in McKinney, Texas and the majority of our handiwork goes to cancer patients in our area.  If you live outside of our area,  we’d love to have you join us long distance and mail your items to us.

If you know of a cancer patient that would love a soft and warm cap or some other comforting handworked item, please contact us and we’d love to send something your way.  We can also accommodate special requests for size, color, style, etc.

Come join one of our weekly meetings:

Tuesday mornings:         10 AM in Room 3116  at FBC                                McKinney

Wednesday evenings:    6-8 at McKinney Knittery at 107 W.Louisiana Street (this meeting is combined with weekly Knit Together meeting at McKinney Knittery)
